Configure SNMP alert thresholds
To add a threshold to an SNMP metric, perform the following steps:
Select the 3-dot menu of the metric then select Edit.
From the metric configuration drawer, select the Thresholds tab.
Select +Add threshold.
Configure the following fields:
Generate alert when metric is - Set the alert threshold such that if that number is greater than, less than, equal, or not equal to a number you specify for an amount of time that you also specify, an alert will trigger.
For more than - Specify a time.
Using severity - Select a severity (Critical, Warning).
Notify with alert timeline - Select the Create an Alert Timeline
Include in availability calculation - Select if you want to include this alert to your server's availability calculation.
