Infrastructure Counter

The Infrastructure Counter widget allows you to display the number of instances in your FortiMonitor account based on how you configured the widget. You can configure which instances are included in the counter by selecting a combination of one or more instance types and filters. See the following example for more information.

Example

In this example, the Infrastructure Counter widget is configured to show the number of Linux-based web servers that have the FortiMonitor Agent installed. This can be accomplished by selecting Agent instances in the Type selection dropdown field and adding the linux and web tags. The following section describes the available configuration options in detail.

Configuration

When creating or editing a widget, a drawer that shows the widget's configuration options slides out from the right. Each configurable option is described in the following table.

Field

Description

Widget name

Name of the widget as it appears on the dashboard.

Type selection

Select one or more instance types.

Instances

Filter instances by:

  • No filter

  • Tags

    • Match all tags – Instances that match ALL of the tags entered will be returned.

    • Match any tag – Instances that match at least one of the tags entered will be returned.

  • Group

  • Name

Background Color

Select a background color.

Dashboard Scoping Adherence

Enabling this option will allow you to bypass Dashboard-level scoping.
