MySQL network check

Control Panel Configuration

You can add a MySQL Network Check by clicking MySQL in the monitoring catalog.

There are Agent metrics for MySQL as well as Network checks.

  • MySQL Port

  • MySQL Session

The configuration for a port check is much simpler, as you are only checking port 3306 to see if it is responsive. The configuration for the session check is a bit more advanced as it requires MySQL Database Credentials.

These credentials will allow the checker node (whether part of our public fleet or your own OnSight) to log in and ensure a session can be established.

If you have any other questions, please reach out to FortiMonitor Support.
