StatusPage.io

If you're not familiar with them already, StatusPage.io is a service that provides public status pages for its customers. Using StatusPage.io with FortiMonitor is a great way to create a public status page for your infrastructure which is independent of your system and always available.

To send your outage information to StatusPage.io, go to Teams & Activity > Integrations.

Here you should select the StatusPage.io card from the Incident Management System section.

A window will open up that will allow you to enter your StatusPage.io information. As you can see below, you will need your StatusPage.io API key and Page ID.

You can find this information by logging into your StatusPage.io and selecting "Account" from your user name's drop-down.

On this new page you can fin your API and Page ID under the API tab.

You can also add component IDs from your StatusPage.io account if you would like. First select "components" in the control panel.

On this new page select the "Automate Component" tab.

The Component ID's will be listed below, and they consist of the string between the "+" and the "@." You can add several of these if you would like. This will allow your outages to affect specific component in your StatusPage.

Once you have finished configuring these settings click Create StatusPage Notification." Now you will need to add this contact information to one of your Alert Timelines so that your StatusPage account will start receiving outage information.
