Apache Zookeeper
The Apache ZooKeeper (Linux) plugin allows you to monitor and collect ZooKeeper metrics.
If you haven't read Add a monitoring agent resource yet, do that first.
Agent Configuration
The Agent must be configured to allow metric collection from Apache ZooKeeper. To do this, add the following to your Agent configuration file.
[apache_zookeeper]
host = <IP ADDRESS>
port = <PORT NUMBER>
The host parameter could be localhost.
The port is usually 2181. You can verify this by checking your ZooKeeper configuration file (zoo.cfg).
Control panel configuration
Apache ZooKeeper monitoring will then be added to a server from the Monitoring configuration tab of the Instance Details page. If you do not see Zookeeper as a discovered resource, rebuild the Agent metadata.
To add and configure Apache ZooKeeper metrics, see Add FortiMonitor Agent checks.
