Fabric topology widget

The Fabric Topology widget shows the physical structure of your Fabric environment, including all connected devices and their interconnections. Before creating the widget, make sure that your active Security Fabric is connected to FortiMonitor.

Note: For FortiManager-based integrations, the widget may only display a single FortiGate unless you have set up a Fabric group on the FortiGates. If Fabric is not set up, the widget will not work.

For more information on Dashboards, see Dashboards.

On hover

Hover the cursor over a device icon to display information about the device.

Some devices may display a small icon with a colored number. This icon represents the number of security ratings recommendations or warnings for that device. The circle color indicates the severity of the highest security rating check that failed. See Security rating for more information.

Expand and collapse

Click the + or - icon to expand or collapse the groups connected to a device. You can also expand individual endpoint groups.

Additional information on each endpoint device can also be displayed on hover.

Device count

Device counts are represented by a donut chart where the total number of endpoints in the group is displayed at the center.

Each sector of the chart represents a different endpoint OS.

Sector color OS
Green FortiMail
Red FortiManager
Orange Linux
Blue Other
