The Windows Service agent plugin type allows you to monitor several different metrics on a specified windows service running on your server.

Control Panel Configuration

First select “Windows” from the monitoring catalog. Scroll to the Service section.

There are 3 options for this metric.

The specific number that this resource returns is defined by the above options, please take this into account if you choose to change your “Alert Threshold” for this resource.

You can monitor multiple Windows Service agent resources on one server if you would like, especially if you have a number of essential services running on your server.
