Cisco Meraki
The Cisco Meraki integration allows you to automatically discover and monitor your Meraki devices and services from within your Meraki Cloud account. Using your Meraki Cloud account’s API, FortiMonitor can reach your Meraki devices and collect metric data from them.
The required API key can be enabled through the Meraki Dashboard. The API is used to fetch the list of organizations and networks from your Meraki Cloud account. From the retrieved list, you can select which items to import into FortiMonitor.
To set up the integration, you need to do the following:

Generate an API key from the Meraki Dashboard.

Set up the integration in FortiMonitor.
These procedures are detailed in their respective sections below.
Generate an API key from the Meraki Dashboard
The Meraki Dashboard is a centralized cloud management interface for Meraki devices and services. You need to enable and generate an API key from the Meraki Dashboard to configure the integration.

Log in to your Meraki Dashboard.

Go to Organization > Settings > Dashboard API access to enable the API for your organization

Select Enable access to the Cisco Meraki Dashboard API to enable API access.

Go to the My Profile page.

Click Generate API key.
Make sure to take note of the API key. You will use this key to configure the Meraki integration in the FortiMonitor Control Panel.
Set up the integration in FortiMonitor
After obtaining the API key from the Meraki Dashboard, log in to FortiMonitor and perform the following steps:

From the navigation menu, click Add. The Infrastructure and Resource Catalog is displayed.

Select Cisco Meraki from the Infrastructure section of the catalog.

Enter a name for the integration.

Enter the API key you have obtained from the Meraki Dashboard.

Click Verify Connection. Once connection is established, proceed to the next step.

Select the Meraki Device Types that you want to monitor.

Optionally use tags to import Meraki devices with matching tags.

Select the Meraki Organizations and Networks that you would like to monitor. To learn more about Meraki Organizations and Networks, see https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Organizations_and_Networks.

Optionally enable the following options:

Import Tags – Import the tags on the Meraki devices into FortiMonitor.

Routinely scan for new instances – Allows the integration to periodically do a discovery scan on your Meraki Cloud account for new devices.

Click Complete Integration to kick off the discovery scan and complete the import.
The metrics for the Meraki devices will be automatically provisioned as part of the discovery process.
