Network quality checks allow you to ensure that your network is running as expected. These metrics can be collected from public checkers. In future releases, support will be added for metric data collection using an OnSight vCollector or a DEM Agent.

Control Panel Configuration

You can add an Network quality check by choosing the Network quality card from the monitoring catalog:

Select a metric from the following options.

There are a number of other options to configure with the Network checks including the check frequency and from which location you would like the check to run. The check can be run from any of our public monitoring nodes

You can configure the Alert Timeline in the Thresholds & CounterMeasures tab and select the number of confirmation checks required to confirm an outage.
