PagerDuty

If you are using multiple monitoring services with their own notification configurations, you may want a tool that can integrate with these different monitoring tools to streamline your Alert Timeline. PagerDuty is the perfect tool for doing exactly that. By integrating your monitoring with PagerDuty you can ensure that all of your systems alarms can be organized within a single framework.

First, go to your Integrations page on the FortiMonitor control panel.

Here you should select the PagerDuty card from the Incident Management System section.

A new window will open up for a PagerDuty login, enter your e-mail and password and select Authorize Integration.

Pagerduty will then ask you to either create a new service, or select an existing one, to complete the integration.

After a moment your new PagerDuty contact, complete with your network key, will show up under your contact. If this does not happen, then this means that the integration was not successful and you should contact our support team. Do not forget to add user contact information to whichever Alert Timeline you would like to pass through PagerDuty.

That's all there is to it, you are now integrated with PagerDuty. You can change your Alert Timelines to run entirely through PagerDuty if you would like.
