PagerDuty

If you are using multiple monitoring services with their own notification configurations, you may want a tool that can integrate with these different monitoring tools to streamline your Alert Timeline. PagerDuty is the perfect tool for doing exactly that. By integrating your monitoring with PagerDuty you can ensure that all of your systems alarms can be organized within a single framework.

Set up the integration in FortiMonitor

To set up the integration, perform the following steps:

  1. In FortiMonitor, go to Teams & Activity > Integrations.

  2. Under the Incident Management System section, select the PagerDuty card.

  3. The PagerDuty login tab is displayed. Enter your email and password then select Authorize Integration.

  4. PagerDuty will then ask you to select one or multiple services to complete the integration.

  5. After a moment your new PagerDuty integration, complete with your network key, will show up under your configured integrations tab. If this does not happen, then this means that the integration was not successful and you should contact our support team. Do not forget to add user contact information to whichever Alert Timeline you would like to pass through PagerDuty.
