Update the FortiMonitor Agent

To update the FortiMonitor Agent, select your server's OS from the list below then run the command.

Redhat or CentOS 

Run the following command:

yum install panopta-agent

Debian or Ubuntu 

  1. Get the key by running the following command:

wget -O - http://packages.panopta.com/panopta.pub    | sudo apt-key add -

2. Run the following:

apt-get update && apt-get install panopta-agent

Linux or Unix tar installer 

curl -s https://packages.panopta.com/install/linux_agent_install.py | python /dev/stdin --customer-key CUSTOMER_KEY_HERE

To obtain your customer key, select your avatar then select My Account.

Windows 

If you originally installed the FortiMonitor Agent using the one-liner quick install, perform the following steps:

  1. Retrieve the quick install command from within your FortiMonitor account by following the steps to Install the FortiMonitor Agent.

  2. Run the command in an administrative PowerShell window.

If you originally used MSI to install the agent, download and install the latest MSI.
