Agent Configuration
If you would like to change the NTP server you are using for reference, then you can add the following section to your Agent config file (/etc/fm-agent/fm-agent.cfg).
[ntp]
ntp_host = pool.ntp.org
ntp_port = 123
Just replace the host name and port with the appropriate values for the NTP server that you are using.
Control Panel Configuration
The NTP plugin allows you to monitor the disagreement between your machine’s time, and the NTP time.
First select “Linux” catalog and choose NTP from the list.
The plugin will only have one option; “Difference between machine and NTP time.” This resource returns the number of seconds, please take this into account if you choose to change your alert thresholds.
