Turning on Guardicore fabric connectors

Fabric connectors must be turned on to retrieve information from external applications. You can turn on a fabric connector when you are creating it. You can also turn on a fabric connector from the home screen of Universal Connector MEA.

Ensure that the Guardicore fabric connector is turned on.

If you disable a Guardicore fabric connector after it has been in use, Universal Connector MEA and FortiManager maintain all configurations, but address information of active sessions is removed from the Policy & Objects module. See Enabling Universal Connector MEA in Policy & Objects.

To turn on Guardicore fabric connectors:

1. Open Universal Connector MEA.
2. On the fabric connector for Guardicore, toggle On.

   In the following example, the Guardicore connector is turned off.
