Creating profiles with FortiExtender WAN ports

You can use a FortiExtender as a WAN port for FortiGates.

Before configuring the WAN port, configure shared resources for FortiExtender for selection in the profile. For example, you can configure a profile for the data plan. For SIM cards, you can use the default profiles for SIM cards, or you can create a custom SIM card profile. For information about creating the shared resources, see Creating extender resources.
