mailsetting storage email-continuity

Use this command to permit end users to access inbound emails when the FortiMail unit is in either Gateway or Transparent mode.

The email continuity feature is license based. This command is only available with a valid purchased license from FortiGuard, and when the FortiMail unit is operating in either Gateway or Transparent mode.

Syntax

config mailsetting storage email-continuity

set status {enable | disable}

set retention-period <days_int>

end

status {enable | disable} Enable or disable email continuity feature.
retention-period <days_int>

Specify the number of days to keep emails in the folder. The valid range is 1 to 180 (0 means no limit).

Note that the actual retention period is whichever is the smaller value of this setting and the auto-delete-old-mail sub-command under profile resource.
