About FortiMail webmail

FortiMail webmail is a special web site located on a FortiMail Secure Messaging Platform unit. Depending on the FortiMail operation mode your network administrator has chosen, FortiMail webmail will:

  • allow you to check your Bulk folder for email that was detected as spam, and therefore quarantined before it reached your inbox
  • allow you to check your Inbox and other mailboxes, including your Bulk folder, and to send email
  • allow you to access your secure email messages.

Several modern, popular web browsers are supported, so you can use FortiMail webmail through the web browser of your choice.

To access FortiMail webmail, in your browser’s location or address bar, enter the URL that was provided to you by your network administrator.

You may also be able to access these mailboxes through popular email software such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird using POP3 or IMAPv4, if your network administrator has enabled that feature. For connection settings, contact your network administrator.
