List View

List View is the main IP address management dashboard allowing you to monitor your entire IP address space.

When clicking on any subnet, subnet details will pop up with additional information.

Here are special terminology of the subnet list table:

Term Description
Source Where the subnet is allocated to. The subnet can be either allocated to FortiGate (FGT), or added manually by user (User).
Conflict When there are two sources that are allocating the subnet, it is indicated as conflict.

IP Networks Group

On the left hand side of the List View, all the subnets are placed in groups. Groups are served as containers for subnets for you to define and organize you network.

The default read-only group "Reported by FortiGate" contains subnets being allocated and used by FortiGate interface, this group is updated in real time through API. All the subnets that are used by FortiGate are shown with the source FGT.

All the other group folders are containers where you can manually add subnets for IP management and to prevent subnets being allocated to FortiGate interface. All the subnets that are added by user will be shown with the source User.

To add subnet(s), click on Add Subnet drop down menu and select one of the options below to add subnet(s) to Groups.
