Common elements

First, we must create the necessary Normalized Interfaces and Address Objects.

To create them interactively:
  1. Go to Policy & Objects > Normalized Interfaces, and click Create New to create the following Normalized Interfaces:

    Name

    Description

    lan_zone

    System Zone combining all the LAN-facing interfaces

    hub2hub_overlay

    System Zone combining all the Hub-to-Hub overlays (interconnecting regions)

    Lo-HC

    Loopback (on Hubs) used for health-check probes

    Lo

    Main Loopback

  2. Navigate to Policy & Objects > Firewall Objects, and under the Addresses tab, click Create New > Address to create the following object:

    Name

    Description

    CORP_LAN

    Corporate (internal) LAN summary, such as 10.0.0.0/8

    Note

    You may have already created this address object earlier, when configuring the SD-WAN Rules.
