FortiView dashboards and widgets
FortiView dashboards and widgets are available in the tree menu under the Dashboards module. The module contains several core dashboards for the top categories. Non-core FortiView pages are available as widgets that can be added to the dashboards. You can also use non-core pages to create standalone dashboards.
Core FortiView dashboards
The following core dashboards are available in the tree menu under the Dashboard console:

Displays Top Sources by traffic volume and drilldown by Source. |
Top Destinations |
Displays Top Destinations by traffic volume and drilldown by Destination. |
Top Applications |
Displays Top Applications by traffic volume and drilldown by Application. |
Top Websites |
Displays Top Websites by session count and drilldown by Domain. |
Top Events |
Displays Top Events by Level and drilldown by Event Name. |
Top Policies |
Displays Top Policies by traffic volume and drilldown by Policy number |
Usage is based on default settings. The pages may be customized further and sorted by other fields.
With the exception of Top Events, you can quarantine a host and ban an IP from all of the core FortiView dashboards. |
FortiView widgets
FortiView widgets allow you to create custom dashboards to monitor vulnerabilities, scan summaries, and top items from selected FortiView categories. You can also customize widgets to show information that is most important to you, such as the time range, source logging device, and other information. For information, see Using widgets
The following FortiView widgets are available in the Add Dashboard Widget menu:

FortiClient Detected Vulnerabilities | Displays a summary of vulnerabilities detected by FortiClient. FortiClient must be enabled. |
FortiView Top N | Top items from the selected FortiView category. The categories include, LAN/DMZ, WAN, and All Segments. For information, seeAdding top FortiView widgets by category |
Host Scan Summary | Displays a summary of hosts scanned. You can use this widget to view the FortiClient monitor and the device inventory. |
