system nd-proxy

Use this command to configure IPv6 Neighbour Discovery (ND) protocol proxying, allowing ICMP messages to be sent upstream and downstream through the FortiGate. This allows a single FortiGate/FortiWiFi device to be used for both IPv4 and IPv6 service.

Command Description

config system nd-proxy

New config command.

Configure IPv6 ND protocol proxying, allowing ICMP messages to be sent upstream and downstream through the FortiGate.

Syntax

config system nd-proxy
    set status {enable | disable}   Enable/disable neighbor discovery proxy.
    config member
        edit {interface-name}
        # Interfaces using the neighbor discovery proxy.
            set interface-name {string}   Interface name. size[64] - datasource(s): system.interface.name
