system vdom-dns
Configure DNS settings used by a VDOM to resolve domain names to IP addresses, so devices connected to a VDOM interface can use it.
This command is only available for non-management VDOMs. |
Some DNS commands can only be set globally, see system dns.
config system vdom-dns set vdom-dns {enable | disable} Enable/disable configuring DNS servers for the current VDOM. set primary {ipv4 address} Primary DNS server IP address for the VDOM. set secondary {ipv4 address} Secondary DNS server IP address for the VDOM. set ip6-primary {ipv6 address} Primary IPv6 DNS server IP address for the VDOM. set ip6-secondary {ipv6 address} Secondary IPv6 DNS server IP address for the VDOM. set source-ip {ipv4 address} Source IP for communications with the DNS server. end

vdom-dns {enable | disable}
Enable or disable (by default) configuring DNS servers for the current VDOM.
primary <ip>
The primary DNS server IP address.
secondary <ip>
The secondary DNS server IP address.
ip6-primary <ipv6>
The primary DNS server IPv6 address.
ip6-secondary <ipv6>
The secondary DNS server IPv6 address.
source-ip <ip>
The IP address used by the DNS server as the source IP.
