Exporting the audit log
You can export the audit log as a CSV file for external review.
To download audit logs in CSV format:

Go to System > Audit Log.

Click Download as .csv.
The audit log CSV file is saved to your local computer.
Audit log fields
The audit log download contains the following fields:

The IP address of the logged in user who initiated the event. |

The date and time when the log entry was created. |

The unique ID of this log entry. |

Indicates success or failure of the operation. |

subject_id |
The internal ID of the system object being operated on. |
|
subject_name |
The system object being operated on. This can be a FortiGate CNF instance, a policy set, an endpoint, or another type of object. |
