Front mounting brackets

You need to install the front mounting brackets to mount the FortiGate-7040E in a four-post rack (see Mounting the FortiGate-7040E chassis in a four-post rack). You also need to install the front mounting brackets to be able to attach the left and right cable management brackets.

The front mounting brackets are not required to mount the FortiGate-7040E in a two-post rack (see Mounting the FortiGate-7040E chassis in a two-post rack).
