Manually adding SaaS apps to the inventory
You can manually add third-party SaaS apps to the inventory that have not reported activity yet. Additionally, you can manually add custom apps to monitor your company's internal SaaS apps by defining a name, logo, category, risk score, and URL patterns for each.
How to manually add a third-party SaaS app to the inventory
- In the FortiDLP Console, on the sidebar menu, click .
- Select the Inventory tab.
- Click Add applications.
- Optionally, to filter the apps:
- Type an app name into the search bar.
- In the table, click the Category header, select/deselect categories, and then click Apply.
- Select one or more apps from the list.
- Click Add apps.
How to manually add a custom SaaS app to the inventory
- In the FortiDLP Console, on the sidebar menu, click .
- Select the Inventory tab.
- Click Add applications.
- Click Add custom app.
- In the Application name field, type a name to identify the app.
- In the Description field, type a description about the app.
- In the URL patterns field, type a line-separated list of URL patterns to identify the app within browser activity.
- Optionally:
- Under Application logo, upload an image file, which will be displayed with the app.
- In the Category menu, select a different category to assign to the app.
- In the Risk score menu, select a different risk score to assign to the app.
- In the Verdict menu, select a verdict to assign to the app.
- Click Add.
