Syncing Google Workspace directories
After you configure a Google Workspace integration, you can enable automatic syncing or perform a manual sync to import your users and directory labels.
How to automatically sync a Google Workspace directory
- In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click
.
- Do one of the following:
- Under Users, select Google directory.
- Under Integrations > Google, select Directory.
- Select the relevant directory panel to open the edit modal.
- Turn the Enable daily auto-sync toggle on.

- Click Save.

An auto-sync will occur daily, and a message will be shown at the bottom of the directory panel;, notifying you of the time of the next auto-sync.
If you perform a manual sync within 6 hours of the next auto-sync, that auto-sync will be skipped. |
How to manually sync a Google Workspace directory
- In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click
.
- Do one of the following:
- Under Users, select Google directory.
- Under Integrations > Google, select Directory.
- In the panel of the relevant directory configuration, click Sync.

The FortiDLP Console will indicate the number of imported users and labels when the sync completes.
