Deleting custom assets

You can easily delete unwanted custom assets. When you delete a custom asset, that asset is removed from the Policy assets tab and relevant policy template selection menus.

A custom asset can only be deleted if the asset is not in use by any policy templates (published or unpublished). OOB and editable OOB assets cannot be deleted.

How to delete a custom asset

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
2. Select the Policy assets tab.
3. On the row of the relevant asset, click> Delete.
   

If the asset you are trying to delete is in use by one or more policies, you will be prompted to remove the asset from linked policies before proceeding.

4. In the Delete asset dialog box, click Delete asset.
