Editing operator roles

If you want to modify the perspective or permissions assigned to an operator role, follow these steps.

How to edit an operator role

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
2. Under Authentication, select the Roles tab.
3. In the All roles table, select the row of the relevant operator role.

You can filter the role list by typing the first few letters of the role name into the Filter by name entry box.

4. In the role panel, do the following:
   1. Update the properties as needed. For detailed information about roles, see Creating operator roles.

      You cannot modify a role Name. You must instead delete the role and recreate it.

   2. Click Save changes.
