Creating operator roles

To create an operator role, follow these steps.

How to create an operator role

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
2. Under Authentication, select the Roles tab.
3. Click Create role.
4. In the Create role dialog box, do the following:
   1. In the Name field, type the role name.
   2. In the Perspective menu, do one of the following:
      • To show users' true profiles in the FortiDLP Console to operators with this role, leave Standard selected.
      • To show users' pseudonymized profiles in the FortiDLP Console to operators with this role, select Pseudonymization.
   3. In the Permissions list, select one or more permissions to assign to the role. A role must have at least one permission. For permission descriptions, see Operator roles.
      

   You can filter the permission list by typing the first few letters of a group or permission name into the Filter by group name or permission label entry box.

   4. Click Create role.
