Customizing editable OOB assets

FortiDLP's editable OOB assets fast-track asset creation. These assets already have a name, description, and tags, but their values must be customized by your organization.

For example, FortiDLP provides an editable authorized email domains asset that you can update to include a list of email or corporate account domain names that are approved by your company.

How to customize an editable OOB asset

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
2. Select the Policy assets tab.
3. Click the relevant asset name.

You can quickly find an editable OOB asset by: clicking the Out of box column and applying the Out of box (editable) filter. typing the first few letters of its name, tag, or description into the search box.

4. Edit the configuration as needed, referring to Creating custom assets for detailed, asset type-specific instructions. The asset name, description, and tags cannot be changed for editable OOB assets.
   
5. Click Save changes.
