Editing custom assets

You can easily edit the configuration of a custom asset.

How to edit a custom asset

1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
2. Select the Policy assets tab.
3. Click the relevant asset name.

You can quickly find an asset by: typing the first few letters of its name, tag, or description into the search box. clicking a column name and applying a filter. For example, you can filter by asset type.

4. Edit the configuration as needed, referring to Creating custom assets for detailed, asset type-specific instructions.
5. Click Save changes.

You must republish all policy groups linked to the asset for your changes to take effect. For instructions, see Publishing policy groups.
