Preventing auto-archiving of users

Preventing auto-archiving of users

You can prevent specified users from being auto-archived by enabled rules. For more information on the different auto-archiving rules, see User archiving and deleting.

Note

When you prevent a user from being auto-archived, their state will transition to Always active.

How to prevent users from being auto-archived
  1. In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click .
  2. Filter the page to locate the user(s) you want to prevent from being auto-archived. For guidance, see Viewing users.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To prevent auto-archiving of a single user:
      1. In the Users table, on the relevant user's row, click > Prevent auto-archiving for user.

      2. In the confirmation box, click Confirm.
    • To prevent auto-archiving of a group of users:
      1. On the top-right corner of the page, click > Prevent auto-archiving.

      2. In the confirmation box, click Confirm.
