Preventing auto-archiving of users
You can prevent specified users from being auto-archived by enabled rules. For more information on the different auto-archiving rules, see User archiving and deleting.

When you prevent a user from being auto-archived, their state will transition to Always active. |
How to prevent users from being auto-archived
- In the FortiDLP Console, on the left-hand sidebar, click
.
- Filter the page to locate the user(s) you want to prevent from being auto-archived.
For guidance, see Viewing users. - Do one of the following:
- To prevent auto-archiving of a single user:
- In the Users table, on the relevant user's row, click
> Prevent auto-archiving for user.

- In the confirmation box, click Confirm.
- In the Users table, on the relevant user's row, click
- To prevent auto-archiving of a group of users:
- On the top-right corner of the page, click
> Prevent auto-archiving.
