Uninstalling the FortiDLP Agent from Windows
To remove the FortiDLP Agent from a Windows device, follow these instructions.
How to uninstall the FortiDLP Agent from Windows
- Go to Settings > Apps & features.
- Locate the FortiDLP Agent application and click Uninstall.
- In the dialog box, click Uninstall again.
- Do one of the following:
- If you are prompted to enter a password, type the uninstall password and then click Uninstall.
- If you are not prompted to enter a password, skip to the next step.
Password protection is enabled using Agent configuration groups. For details, refer to the FortiDLP Administration Guide.
- In the FortiDLP Agent dialog box, click OK.
- In the User Account Control dialog box, click Yes.
- Restart the device.

The Agent can alternatively be uninstalled by double-clicking the MSI installation package and then clicking Remove. However, this is not supported when password protection is enabled. |
