Configuration
In the Configuration page, you can see the FortiDevice version, change the time zone, set how long event log entries are kept, set how long the console remains active, and view the privacy policy, terms of service, and GDPR.
The default for how long event log entries are kept is 180 days. The minimum amount of time that event log entries are kept is 1 day, and the maximum amount of time is 360 days. The Once every 12 hours, event log entries are checked, and the expired event log entries are removed. The number of removed event log entries is recorded in the event log.
The default for how long the console stays active is 30 minutes. The minimum amount of time that the console stays active is 1 minute; the maximum amount of time is 360 minutes.
To change the time zone:

Go to Settings > Configuration.

From the Time Zone Display dropdown list, select the correct time zone.

Click APPLY SETTINGS.
To set how long event log entries are kept:

Go to Settings > Configuration.

In the Event Logs Retention Period field, enter how many days to keep the event log entries.

Click APPLY SETTINGS.
To set how long the console is active:

Go to Settings > Configuration.

In the Console Idle Timeout field, enter how many minutes to keep the console active.

Click APPLY SETTINGS.
