Adding log servers

The Events > Log Servers page shows all log servers that have been configured. You can add up to five log servers for saving event logs to.

To add an external log server:

1. Go to Events > Log Servers.

2. Click ADD LOG SERVER.

   

3. In the Name field, enter a name for this log server.

4. Select the Enable Log Server checkbox to make the log server active.

5. In the Server Address field, enter the IP address for the log server.

6. In the Port field, change the port number if needed.

7. Select one or more Event Source Type checkboxes for the event logs that you want saved to this server.

   You can select Cloud Server, Detector, User, Task, Alert, Inventory, Report, or Organization events.

8. In the Notes field, enter an optional description of this log server.

9. Click SAVE.
