Whatʼs new in FortiDevice 25.1.a

Release 25.1.a provides the following new features:

  • You can use the new Events > Log Servers page to add an external log server and view all log servers that have been added. For more details, see Adding log servers.

  • You can now automatically discover endpoint devices with FortiClient that are managed by FortiClient Enterprise Management Server (EMS) or FortiClient EMS Cloud, as well as endpoint devices with FortiDeceptor. For more details, see Configuring fabric connectors.

  • A new Attack Surface Metrics widget on the Dashboard page shows the number of attack vectors, attack vector types, attack complexity, whether user interaction or user privileges are required, the scope of the attack, the availability of impact measures, integrity, and confidentiality. For more information about the Dashboard page, see Viewing the dashboard.

  • You can now see the details for each scan, including the scan history with asset changes. For more details, see Viewing the scanʼs details.

  • You can now be notified with an asset changes by creating an asset query from the Alerts > Queries page. For more information about queries, see Adding a query.

  • You can now filter the assets in the Inventory > Assets page by Standard, Cloud, or FortiClient EMS.

  • You can now filter the vulnerabilities in the Inventory > Vulnerabilities page by Active, Inactive, or Fixed.
