Data policies

uses data policies to monitor or audit reads and writes on specific database objects. It also uses them to monitor database access that takes place via your application server, location, or OS user.

To configure a data policy
  1. Do one of the following:
    • To configure a policy that is available to add to multiple target monitoring configurations, go to Policy > DAM Alert Policies or Policy > DAM Audit Policies.
    • To configure a policy for a specific target, go to DB Activity Monitoring > Monitoring Management, and then click a target name. Then, click the Alert Policies or Audit Policies tab.
  2. In the Data Policies list, select a type of data policy.
  3. Click Add, and complete the policy settings:
  4. Click Save to save the policy configuration.
