Create Resource Group by Rule Matching

  1. Go to ADMIN > Resource Group from Workload Protection navigation menu.
  2. Click +Create New to create a new resource group.
  3. Give a name for the resource group and description.
  4. In Add Account section, select By Rule Matching.
  5. In Account Name field, enter the regex and press Enter.
  6. For example, "ttt.*" entered here to captures all account names that starts with "ttt")

  7. Click Account Platform drop down menu and select the account platform:Google Cloud.
  8. Click See Matched Account to verify the accounts that will be added, and click Ok and Close.
  9. Click Create Resource Group to finish creating the resource group.

When there are other cloud accounts added to Workload Protection with similar names, it will be captured by the regex and included in the resource group.
