Policy Configuration

Policy configuration allows you to enable or disable the policies to trigger alerts, customize policies, and activate auto fixing when the alert is triggered.

Compliance policies utilize preconfigured data pattern from Collections to configure compliance policies. There are certain policies that let you define how and when the policy should be applied to the cloud accounts.

For example, Threat protection – Suspicious Time policy monitors specific event being triggered at a suspicious time frame.

Another example is Threat Protection - Suspicious Movement policy looks for suspicious logins from unusual location.

Policy needs to be enabled for alerts to be triggered on FortiCWP. This also applies to C-Level and Compliance Report, only enabled policies will generate data on reports.
