User Management

There are three two types of users in FortiCWP: Email and IAM users.

Email User IAM User

User Access Level

Master User

Full Access User

IAM Admin User Users with full administrative access to FortiCWP.
Limit Access User IAM Read/Write User Users with limited access to FortiCWP.

User Management

Master user can grant or stop Limited or IAM (Read/Write) user access through FortiCWP user management.

Follow the steps below to grant or stop user access to FortiCWP.

  1. Click on Company at the top right hand corner.
  2. Scroll down to User Management to view list of users.
  3. Depending on the configuration from FortiCloud, users can have either Full or Limit Access to FortiCWP.
  4. Click on the Grant Access to FortiCWP toggle switch button to turn on or off users access.

IAM User Management

IAM user can be configured through IAM portal. You may add, delete IAM user, or edit user permission.

Follow the steps below to edit IAM user permission:

  1. Click on Services drop down menu on FortiCWP and select IAM.
  2. In IAM Portal page, click on the full name of the user.
  3. Click on the User Permissions tab, then click Edit.
  4. In Portal Permissions > Cloud Management Service, click on the FortiCWP edit button.
    1. Click on Allow Portal Access toggle switch to turn on or off access to FortiCWP.
    2. In Access Type, select Admin to grant the user with administrator permission or select Read/Write to give read and write permission to FortiCWP.
  5. Click Confirm to finish editing the user.
  6. Click Update on the top to update the user permissions.
