Map View

FortiCWP gives a top down graphical view of all registered cloud accounts.

The purpose of the FortiCWP Resource Map is two-fold:

  • Help administrators quickly understand infrastructures of all monitored cloud accounts with ease.
  • Display relationship between cloud resource instances and services.

Access Resource Map

  1. From FortiCWP Workload Protection navigation pane, click on Resource, then click on Map View on the top right hand corner.
  2. An overview of all monitored cloud accounts will be shown in one graphical view.
  3. Click on any Region (Amazon/Azure) / Project (Google Cloud) within any cloud account to see the cloud resources under that region/project.
  4. Note: Scroll forward with the mouse to zoom in.

  5. Click on any VPC (Amazon) / Region (Google Cloud) / Virtual Networks (Azure) to drill down to see all the cloud assets within the specific scope.
  6. Click on the number in the corner of each resource to show relationships between different cloud resources.

All virtual networks under the account as well as all the subnets virtual machine instances are shown in one graphical view.

The hierarchical resource map illustrates the infrastructure relationship and network topology in separate layers.

The scope options can be distributed to three levels. The resource name will be the account nick name setup during installation.
