Account Management

Account Status

After adding or installing cloud accounts, please check for installation status under the authentication page in Admin > Account.

Account Status Description

Cloud Account Status Description
Initializing Process of initializing after adding account, may take up to 15 minutes.
Fail to initialize Account failed to be initialized after adding the account.
Running The account is installed successfully with all the features working.
Running, with warning The account is installed successfully, but requires users to refer to the check list for detail.
Stopped, major error Account monitoring is stopped with error.
Off by user Account monitoring disabled by user while historical data is still available.
Off by System Account monitoring disabled by system while historical data is still available.

Waiting

Loading time between Turning On/Off account monitoring.

Fail to add Unable to add an account that has already been installed.

To further troubleshoot account status, click the arrow sign on the left to show account details. Select Check List tab to show installation check list.

Check List Description

Check List Status Description
Pass Configuration completed with no issue.
Necessary Error Configuration failed with necessary feature unavailable, please check installation steps to fix the error.
Suggested Error Configuration failed, but cloud account still able to install and function with minor error.
Critical Critical error that prevents the account to be installed.

Update Cloud Account

When there is an issue with the added cloud account, you may re-athenticate the cloud account by updating it. To update the cloud account follow the steps below:

  1. Choose a cloud account that needs to be re-authenticated.
  2. Click the action button and select Update.
  3. Follow the update guide to finish updating the account.

Delete Cloud Account

When a cloud account is no longer needed to be monitored or if it needs to be deleted to free up usage, follow the steps below to delete the cloud account.

  1. Choose the cloud account that needs to be deleted.
  2. Click the action button and select Delete.
  3. Check all options in the pop-up delete cloud account check box.
  4. Click Delete Cloud Account to finish removing the cloud account.

Turn off Workload Guardian

When you would like to turn off Workload Guardian on the cloud account or if you would like to free up the license seat by disabling the Workload Guardian on the account, follow these steps to turn off the Workload Guardian on the cloud account.

  1. Choose the cloud account that needs to have Workload Guardian turned off.
  2. Click the action button and select Turn off Workload Guardian.
  3. Check all options in the pop-up delete cloud account check box.
  4. Click Yes, Turn If Off to finish turning off the Workload Guardian.
Turning off the Workload Guardian will not free up Storage Guardian usage, you will need to manually free up Storage Guardian usage by disabling Storage Guardian on Storage bucket/container. Please see Free Up Storage Guardian License Seat Space.

  3. Check all options in the pop-up delete cloud account check box.
  4. Click Yes, Turn If Off to finish turning off the Workload Guardian.
