Add Azure Hosted FortiGate

Gather Required Information on the FortiGate Virtual Machine

Before adding FortiGate VM on FortiCNP, there are some information that need to be collected on the FortiGate VM.

1. Log into Azure.
2. Search and go to Virtual Machines.



3. Click on the virtual machine that hosts FortiGate.



4. In Overview, record down Subscription ID.

Add FortGate on FortiCNP

Make sure the FortiOS version is 6.4.0 or later for IPS Integration in FortiCNP.

1. Enter the FortiGate Name and Serial Number.



2. The FortiGate Serial number can be obtained under System Information in FortiGate.



3. In Virtual Network > Cloud Platform, select Azure.
4. Select the Azure Subscription ID that hosts the virtual network.



5. In Virtual Network, select the Virtual Network of the FortiGate virtual machine.



6. Click Add FortiGate Device to complete.
