FortiCNP 22.4.a Release Highlights

  • You can now monitor your Cloud accounts from different FortiCNP accounts – you can use one FortiCNP Account to test functionality and then use a different FortiCNP account to implement production workload monitoring and protection. This feature is expected to simplify the migration from test FortiCNP accounts to production FortiCNP accounts.
  • We have implemented numerous backend enhancements that will allow us to develop and deliver richer functionality faster to our customers. In this version we have implemented both
    • (1) OPA and have migrated the policy engine for FortiCNP to use the Rego language. We have also
    • (2) implemented a graph database that will allow us to calculate more precise risk scores factoring in more relevant information over time.
  • Fortinet Security Fabric – FortiGate’s Intrusion prevention Logs are now ingested as FortiCNP threat findings. These findings provide FortiGate and FortiCNP customers that ability to prioritize risk of cloud resource with deep Fortinet security fabric intelligence. Threat findings are collected for virtual machines residing in defined cloud virtual networks.
