Container Visibility

Prerequisite

Kubernetes agent needs to be updated to enable the Container Visibility feature, for details on updating the Kubernetes Cluster, please see Upgrade Kubernetes Agent.

Introduction

Container Visibility can be accessed through Overview > Container Visibility. All supported Kubernetes clusters with Kubernetes agent installed will have Container Visibility feature.

Each cluster box gives a brief summary of the component stats: the number of Namespaces, Nodes, Images, Compliant Rate, and Overall Health of the Kubernetes agent.

Click on View Container Visibility button for the Cluster Layer

Note: The images and tags of each cluster box should match the ones from FortiView > Container Image > Registry\Repository view. For the images that are missing, means they are not registered yet with Container Protection, they will be shown as grey in the cluster box.

Although the images are still available in Container Visibility, they will not be evaluated for vulnerability and risk score.

For Example, the following cluster box has 8 images, but only 1 image is monitored and evaluated for vulnerability and risk score.
