The Cloud Protection license seat is equivalent to 1 virtual machine. The Data Protection Standard/Advanced are add-on service of the license plan.

Only for FortiCloud Contract Users: The FortiCloud license subscription is entitled to an extra 50% of Workload Virtual Machines.
For example, if you purchased 100 VMs coverage, you will actually get 150 VMs coverage. (Not available for AWS Subscription users)

If you have both FortiCloud Contract and AWS Marketplace Subscription, there will be no extra 50% buffer, and extra usage will be calculated as Extra VMs under AWS Marketplace Subscription. |
