What's new for FortiCloud Services
New Terms and Conditions workflow
All users are prompted to read and accept the Fortinet Inc. terms and conditions when logging into the FortiCloud Services portals. If the terms and conditions are changed or updated, users will be prompted to read them through and accept the changes before they can proceed. See the Creating an account in the FortiCloud Account guide or Marketplace in the Asset Management guide.
Enforcing two-factor authentication
Email users will be forced to enable two-factor authentication with the FortiToken mobile app if it has been enforced at the Organization or Account level. When logging into your email account, you will be prompted to set up two-factor authentication before you can proceed with logging in. Two-factor authentication is recommended to improve your security by forcing you to enter a security code when you log into the portals. See Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in the IAM guide.
What's new for Asset Management
Marketplace FortiFlex point transfer
FortiPoints can be transferred to FortiFlex points in the Marketplace > Spending page. See Spending in the Asset Management guide.
Marketplace FortiClient EMS
The Marketplace now supports FortiClient EMS in the Marketplace > Spending page. See Spending in the Asset Management guide.
Managed FortiGate Service entitlement registration
When a new Managed FortiGate Service entitlement is registered, a banner is displayed to prompt the user to submit an onboarding request in the Managed FortiGate Service portal. The banner will only display if there is no Managed FortiGate Service entitlement already registered or the registered entitlement is expired. See Registering assets in the Asset Management guide.
What's new for FortiCare
FortiCare New has been renamed
The beta ticketing portal has been renamed from FortiCare New (Beta) to FortiCare New. The existing portal has been renamed from FortiCare to FortiCare Legacy. See Introduction to FortiCare New in the FortiCare guide.
Save ticket draft
When adding a comment to a Ticket Conversation, you can save the draft to edit or discard at a later time. See Adding comments in the FortiCare guide.
Downloads
The Downloads > VM Images, HQIP Images, Service Updates, and Firmware Image Checksum pages have been added. See Downloads in the FortiCare guide.
Product Life Cycle
The Product Life Cycle page has been added. You can review hardware, software, and service life cycle information and download a copy of the hardware product life cycle as a spreadsheet. See Product Life Cycle in the FortiCare guide.
Guidelines and Policies
A Guidelines and Policies page has been added to provide links for reference documents on ticket guidelines, policies, and cloud service descriptions. See Guidelines and Policies in the FortiCare guide.
Resource-based permissions
There is a new permissions card available for the FortiCare New portal. When assigning permissions for the FortiCare New portal, the user can be assigned access using resource-based permissions. The FortiCare Legacy portal will continue to use role-based permissions. See User access in the FortiCare guide and Portals with resource-based permissions in the IAM guide.
What's new for ELA
EMS FortiSASE support
EMS FortiSASE configurations are now supported in the ELA portal. See Adding new EMS FortiSASE software in the ELA Portal guide.
Standard FortiSASE Support
Standard FortiSASE support is available for ESA contracts in the Asset Management ELA Profile page. See ELA profile in the Asset Management guide.
