Switching accounts

You can switch between available accounts from the profile menu. The accounts available for switching will depend on your method of logging into FortiCloud. See Selecting an account for more information.

Switching from email credentials

If you are logged in using your email credentials, you can switch to linked user accounts and partner accounts. Not all options will be available depending on your account permissions and linked accounts.

To switch to a new user account:
  1. Click the profile menu in the top right.

  2. Select Switch Accounts. The Switch Accounts dialog is displayed.

  3. Select a user account to switch to. A warning message is displayed.

  4. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the Dashboard of the selected account is displayed.

    Note

    If there is only one user account linked to the email credentials, select Continue with Current Account.

To switch to a partner connected account:
  1. Click the profile menu in the top right.

  2. Select Switch Accounts. The Switch Accounts dialog is displayed.

  3. Select the Partner Connected Accounts tab. A list of partner and connected accounts is displayed.

  4. Select the account you want to change to:

    • Select Visit as a Partner to access the partner account.

    • Hover over an Account Name and click Select to access an individual account.

      A warning message is displayed.

  5. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the Dashboard of the selected account.

Switching from an IAM user account

If you logged in using your IAM user credentials, you can switch to a new account.

To switch from an IAM user account:
  1. Click the profile menu in the top right.

  2. Select Switch Accounts. The Switch Accounts dialog is displayed.

  3. Select the account you want to change to.

    A warning message is displayed.

  4. Click Proceed as IAM User to proceed to linked IAM user accounts.

  5. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the Dashboard of the selected account.

Switching from an IdP role

If you are logged into an external IdP role, you can switch to another linked role or OU accounts.

To switch to an IdP role:
  1. Click the profile menu in the top right.

  2. Select Switch Accounts. The Switch Accounts dialog is displayed.

  3. Select the External IDP Role tab. A list of linked roles is displayed.

  4. Hover over the role you want to change to and click Select.

    A warning message is displayed.

  5. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the Dashboard of the selected account.

Switching accounts

  4. Select the account you want to change to:

  5. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the Dashboard of the selected account.

Switching from an IAM user account

If you logged in using your IAM user credentials, you can switch to a new account.

To switch from an IAM user account:
  1. Click the profile menu in the top right.

  2. Select Switch Accounts. The Switch Accounts dialog is displayed.

  3. Select the account you want to change to.

    A warning message is displayed.

  4. Click Proceed as IAM User to proceed to linked IAM user accounts.

  5. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the Dashboard of the selected account.

Switching from an IdP role

If you are logged into an external IdP role, you can switch to another linked role or OU accounts.

To switch to an IdP role:
  1. Click the profile menu in the top right.

  2. Select Switch Accounts. The Switch Accounts dialog is displayed.

  3. Select the External IDP Role tab. A list of linked roles is displayed.

  4. Hover over the role you want to change to and click Select.

    A warning message is displayed.

  5. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the Dashboard of the selected account.
