Limitations of FortiClient Cloud

Note

You can use FortiClient Cloud to manage and provision up to 5000 FortiClient endpoints. You must use an on-premise EMS to manage more than 5000 endpoints.

This section lists the features currently available in FortiClient Cloud:

  • Fabric Telemetry
  • Antivirus real time protection
  • Remote access (IPsec and SSL VPN)
  • Sandbox Protection
  • Web Filter
  • Application Firewall
  • Software Inventory
  • SSO
  • Cloud-based threat detection
  • Anti-exploit engine
  • USB device control
  • Vulnerability management
  • FortiGate Fabric connectors

FortiClient Cloud does not currently support the following features. To use these features, use an on-premise EMS instead of FortiClient Cloud:

  • Active Directory (AD) integration
  • Chromebook management

The following provides a comparison between FortiClient Cloud, EMS 6.2, and EMS 6.4:
