FortiCASB 24.1.b Release Highlights

  • AI Enhanced DLP Scan – DLP scan accuracy has been enhanced leveraging an Large Language Model (LLM) framework introducing AI set capabilities to accurately trigger DLP alerts matching your Data Security Policy. This capability measurably minimizes false positives and false negatives while providing better classification for text that can potentially match multiple data types.
  • Data Security Policy Management (DSPM) - new match criteria and actions for data in Google Workspace environment.
    • Match Criteria:
      • Label Triggers is new filter criteria that identifies Google Drive files with specific labels in data protection policies.
    • Triggered Actions:
      • Change Access Permission changes access permission on files matched by the Data Security policy. Exposed files can now be set to private.
      • Write Labels to Files – files matching the data security policy criteria can be tagged with meta-data labels to indicate their content or status.
  • Google Workspace Threat detection:
    • Predefined and Customized Threat detection Policies are now incorporated into Google Workspace SaaS application security controls. Additionally, Suspicious Label Activity policy is introduced to monitor file label activities.
  • Data Protection Update – The Legal information and Intellectual Property Data Pattern categories have been deprecated, and new data patterns have been added to Financial Information and Personal Identity Information in synchronization with FortiGuard.
  • License Expiration Notification – prior to FortiCASB license expiring, email notifications with license renewal invitations are sent to prevent any service interruptions for both FortiCASB and FortiSASE/ZTNA customers.
