FortiWifi and FortiAP Configuration

This section describes how to configure wireless networks with FortiWiFi, FortiGate, and FortiAP devices.

Before you begin

Before you begin using this section, make sure that you have:

• administrative access to the FortiGate GUI and/or CLI.
• integrated the FortiGate into your network.
• configured the operation mode.
• configured the system time, DNS settings, administrator password, and network interfaces.
• verified that the firmware, FortiGuard Antivirus, and FortiGuard AntiSpam are up to date.
• configured FortiGuard Analysis and Management Service.

While using the instructions in this section, administrators must be super_admin administrators unless otherwise specified. Some restrictions apply to other administrators.
